The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 973

If she really was pregnant, at a time like this—

She had just decided to start a new life in Northridge City, was about to start her job at Ninesky, and had Niki to take care of… A flood of questions overwhelmed her, leaving her feeling utterly lost.

“I… I haven’t ruled out the possibility,” Danielle’s voice trembled, her knuckles turning white.

The doctor noticed her panic and softened her tone. “It’s okay, don’t be nervous just yet.”

“We need to rule out pregnancy before we can proceed with any other tests, like a CT scan.”

“First, go get a blood test for your HCG levels. The results will give us a definitive answer.”

Clutching the lab request form, Danielle walked out of the examination room on unsteady feet.

The hallway light felt blinding. She stood there for a long moment, unable to process anything.

“What’s wrong? Did you get the results?”

Gian rushed over. Seeing her pale face and vacant eyes, his heart clenched. He gently took her arm to steady her.

“Are you not feeling well?”

Danielle looked up into Gian’s worried eyes, and the panic she’d been holding back surged like a tidal wave.

She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself, but her voice still shook. “Gian, something’s… I think I might be pregnant.”

“Pregnant?” Gian’s pupils contracted. He was clearly stunned.

Danielle looked at Gian’s earnest face.

Faced with this sudden crisis, he showed no judgment or hesitation, only immediate support. His gentleness and reliability were a balm to her frayed nerves.

“Thank you, Gian,” Danielle said, taking a deep breath and closing her eyes. “My head is spinning. I don’t even know how to face this.”

“It’s okay. You have me,” Gian said, gently patting her hand. His voice was soothing. “Let’s go get your blood drawn first. We’ll face the results together, okay?”

Danielle nodded and stood up with Gian’s help.

The hallway was bustling with people.

At the phlebotomy window, Gian waited in line with her. He even asked the nurse for a piece of candy and handed it to her. “Have this after the blood draw. It’ll help.”
