Too Late Mr. White! I'm Married To Your Rival Now novel Chapter 194

Aria's POV

I stared at Aiden sitting on the couch, his eyes soft but inviting as he patted the space beside him.

"You look like you're calling a puppy," I said, staying put.

"Not a puppy." His lips curved into that devastatingly handsome smile that always made my stomach flip.

I raised an eyebrow, finally moving toward him. As I approached, he chuckled low in his throat.

"More like calling a bunny."

"Seriously?" I rolled my eyes, turning to leave. "I'm not an animal!"

Before I could take another step, Aiden moved with lightning speed. His strong arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me into his lap.

"Stay," he whispered, his breath tickling my ear. "Just let me hold you for a while."

Looking down at me with those dark eyes swimming with desire, he made it impossible to resist. Something about the way he said "stay" worked like magic on me. I relaxed against his chest, inhaling his familiar sandalwood cologne.

My hands itched to roam. I mean, My husband has amazing abs... who wouldn't want to feel them? I wasn't trying to start anything—I was just curious. Okay, maybe more than curious.

My fingers twitched against his sides before I wrapped my arms around his waist. Even through his shirt, I could feel the firm muscles underneath. My heart hammered wildly as my hand slowly traveled from his back around to the front.

Through his shirt, I lightly brushed my fingers across his stomach, but couldn't really feel what I wanted to. I shifted slightly to hide my intentions and let my fingers drift to the buttons of his shirt, toying with one.

"Still touching?" Aiden caught my wrist, his voice dropping an octave lower. His Adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed hard.

"I'm not," I said, feeling my cheeks flush. My eyes darted away from his knowing gaze.

I wasn't touching! Just... accidentally making contact with his buttons.

Aiden twirled my wrist playfully. "Then what exactly was Mrs. Carter's hand doing just now?"

"Just touching your button. That's all."

He studied me for a moment, his gaze intensifying. "If you want to touch me, just do it. I'm not stopping you."

That only made it worse. "I wasn't!" I protested, my voice rising.

I literally just touched his button!

"Alright, you weren't," he conceded, releasing my hand. But the smirk playing on his lips and the indulgent look in his eyes made it clear he didn't believe me for a second.

His look sent heat rushing to my face. Fine. If he wanted to tease me, I'd call his bluff.

"So what if I want to touch my own husband?" I challenged. "Maybe I do want to touch you. Maybe I want to touch you everywhere!"

Aiden leaned forward, closing the distance between us in an instant. His face was so close I could see the flecks of gold in his dark eyes. My breathing quickened as his hands tightened on my lower back, pressing me against his hard chest.

"Close your eyes," he commanded softly.

His hot breath enveloped me, that intoxicating sandalwood scent overwhelming my senses. I instinctively shut my eyes, and without sight, every touch felt magnified.

His lips captured mine in a kiss that started gentle but quickly grew hungry. I felt myself melting against him as he deepened the kiss, his tongue exploring mine in a familiar dance that still managed to make my toes curl.

When he finally pulled back, his lips lingered on mine for a few more seconds before trailing kisses across my face. His warm breath danced across my forehead, nose, and cheeks before moving down to my neck.

A shiver raced down my spine as his mouth found that sensitive spot where my neck met my shoulder. The wet heat of his tongue and gentle scrape of teeth sent waves of pleasure through me.

"Aiden..." I gasped, suddenly realizing where this was heading. I pushed weakly against his chest, but my body betrayed me, arching into his touch.

He lifted his head, and what I saw made my core tighten with desire. His eyes were dark pools of undisguised lust, staring at me with raw hunger.

"Bedroom or shower?" he growled against my throat, his hands already sliding under my shirt.

"Shower," I breathed, wrapping my legs around his waist as he stood, carrying me effortlessly toward the bathroom.

Our lips never separated as he navigated the hallway, my back occasionally bumping against the wall as his control slipped. By the time we reached the bathroom, half my buttons were undone, and his shirt was completely open.

Aiden set me down on the marble counter, reaching behind me to turn on the shower. Steam quickly filled the room as his hands returned to my body, stripping away my clothes with practiced efficiency.

"Look at you," he murmured, spinning me around to face the mirror above the sink. "So fucking beautiful."
