Too Late Mr. White! I'm Married To Your Rival Now novel Chapter 41

Aria's POV

The mansion seemed impossibly quiet as we stepped inside. Every nerve in my body was alive, hypersensitive to Aiden's presence beside me.

His hand rested possessively on the small of my back, guiding me through the grand foyer.

I could still feel the ghost of his lips on mine, the pressure of his hands on my body.

The car ride had awakened something in me I didn't know existed - a hunger that wouldn't be satisfied with just a taste.

"Would you like a drink?" he asked, his voice lower than usual, rough around the edges.

I shook my head. "No. Not tonight."

His eyes darkened at my response, understanding exactly what I meant. No barriers, no liquid courage. I wanted to remember every moment of what was about to happen.

"Come," he said simply, taking my hand.

The walk up the grand staircase felt like the longest journey of my life. My legs trembled slightly, not from fear but from anticipation.

When we reached the door to the master bedroom - our bedroom, though I'd never slept there - he paused.

"Are you sure about this?" he asked, studying my face intently.

"More sure than I've been about anything," I whispered.

He pushed the door open, and I stepped inside.

The room was massive, dominated by an enormous bed with dark sheets. Moonlight streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows, bathing everything in silver.

I heard the door close behind me, then felt Aiden's presence at my back, his heat radiating against me.

"Do you have any idea what you do to me?" he murmured, his breath hot against my ear.

His hands slid around my waist from behind, pulling me back against him. I could feel how much he wanted me, hard and insistent against my lower back.

"Show me," I challenged, finding courage I didn't know I had.

He spun me around to face him, his eyes burning with an intensity that stole my breath. Without warning, he lifted me into his arms and carried me to the bed, laying me down with surprising gentleness.

He stood over me, loosening his tie with deliberate slowness. I watched, transfixed, as he pulled it free and tossed it aside.

Next came his jacket, then his shirt, revealing inch by inch of tanned skin stretched over hard muscle.

My mouth went dry at the sight. I'd known he was fit, but seeing him like this - half-naked and looking at me with naked hunger - was something else entirely.

"Your turn," he said, voice like gravel.

I sat up, reaching for the zipper of my dress, but he stopped me.

"Let me."

He knelt on the bed beside me, turning me so my back was to him. I felt his fingers brush against my skin as he slowly lowered the zipper, much as he had in the car. But this time, there was no need to stop.

The dress loosened, and he slid it from my shoulders, letting it pool around my waist. His fingertips traced the line of my spine, sending shivers across my skin.

"I've dreamed about this," he confessed, his voice barely audible. "About you."

He pushed the dress further down, helping me step out of it until I was left in nothing but my black lace underwear. I fought the urge to cover myself as his eyes roamed over me.

"Fucking perfect," he growled.

He was on me then, pushing me back against the pillows, his mouth claiming mine in a kiss that left no room for doubt about what he wanted.

His tongue traced the seam of my lips, demanding entry that I eagerly granted.

I ran my hands over the broad expanse of his chest, marveling at the contrast of smooth skin and hard muscle. When my fingers brushed against his nipples, he groaned into my mouth.

His own hands weren't idle, tracing curves and valleys of my body like he was memorizing every inch. When he cupped my breast through my bra, I arched into his touch, desperate for more.

"I need you," I whispered against his lips. "Please, Aiden."

He reached behind me, unhooking my bra with practiced ease. As he pulled it away, exposing me completely to his gaze, I saw something almost reverent flash in his eyes.
