Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 1303

Ewan blushed when he saw Darryl, feeling conflicted. Rachel looked uncomfortable too.

Rachel and Ewan had murdered Darryl multiple times before. They had tried their best to avoid him since his fame grew over the years. They did not expect to see him in the ancient tomb.

‘Why do we bump into them?’ Darryl’s mood dampened the moment he saw Ewan and Rachel.

When they were in New World, Ewan and Rachel had caused him to fall into a volcano crater, and he almost died there. Although, in the end, he had absorbed the world’s top enchanted flame, Darryl still hated Ewan.

“Zhu, you shouldn’t have killed the centipede!” Darryl said to Zhu Bajie

“Why?” Zhu Bajie was puzzled as he stared at Rachel.

‘Another beautiful woman!’

‘This woman has an exquisite figure and beautiful face,’ he thought.

“If you hadn’t killed the centipede, some others might have died because of the centipede,” Darryl smirked as he glared angrily at Ewan and Rachel.

Darryl could see that Ewan and Rachel were terrified when they saw the centipede, so they hid behind the stone stele. How could he miss this golden opportunity to humiliate them?

Although Rachel was his godfather’s elder daughter, Darryl would never forgive her for all the things she had done to him!

Ewan blushed and retorted, “Darryl! Stop insinuating. Rachel and I could have killed the centipede even if you hadn't come over.”

Rachel collected her thoughts and added, “That’s right. Don’t think you are superior now and can look down on us. Ewan and I do not need your help at all!”

Rachel felt conflicted when she saw Darryl. However, when Darryl started to humiliate them, she could not stand it anymore.

“Heh. Really? When you meet another poisonous bug later, you can deal with it on your own. We definitely won’t interfere!” Darryl said, smiling. He could not be bothered to speak any more with those two stubborn people.

“You…” Rachel was so furious, but she could not fight back.
