Seeing the situation becoming worse, Donoghue shouted at Shentel, “Shentel, you need to leave. I’ll find you later!”
‘Shentel is not powerful enough. I can’t let the Pixiu hurt her,’ he thought.
“No!” Shentel shook her head, worried. “No, dear. I’m not leaving. Let’s retreat if it is too difficult.”
The Pixiu was just an enchanted beast that was guarding the ancient tomb. There was no need to stay there!
Donoghue shook his head firmly. “No, I must control him!”
He was the Prime Minister and he had the Sky Breaking Axe. He must not be defeated by a fierce beast and run away! He must capture it alive!
Next, Donoghue said to a man dressed in a black shirt, “Ted, bring my wife to a safe place. Hurry!”
Ted was Donoghue’s private bodyguard and also his trusted partner. He was a Level One Martial Emperor.
“Yes, Prime Minister!” Ted replied and rushed over to Shentel. “Madam, we must leave quickly. The Prime Minister has a unique divine weapon; he will be fine.”
“Alright then!” Shentel replied.
She decided not to persuade Donoghue any further when she saw he was determined. The beast was extremely fierce, and she would be no help at all even if she stayed. Instead, she might just end up being a distraction for him so it would be better if she left.
Shentel followed Ted and left the place.
“You beast, don’t you dare be wild!”
Once Shentel left, Donoghue had nothing to worry about. He held the Sky Breaking Axe and exploded with a strong aura as he charged towards the Pixiu.
Meanwhile, Ted had brought Shentel to another corner of the ancient tomb. Ted looked around and pointed at a garden in the front. “Madam, why don’t we rest over there. Once the Prime Minister captures the Pixiu, he’ll definitely come looking for us.”
“Alright!” Shentel replied without further thought. At that moment, Shentel was only worried about Donoghue. Even though Donoghue was powerful, it was still challenging to capture a Pixiu alive.
She could only pray that Donoghue would return safely. She looked around as she prayed.
