Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 1472

Once he returned to the inn, Darryl ordered Four Dragons Four Phoenixes, “Later you go to places near the royal palace to find out some news about Princess Yvette.”

Although he could see Yvette every day at the competition venue, Darryl still wished to know her situation in the palace. Honestly, he really wished to break into the palace to investigate, but when he thought of the fact that there were many powerful warriors in the palace, and he was one of the participants, he had to put off the idea.

“Yes, boss!” they answered together before leaving the inn immediately.

Four Dragons Four Phoenixes returned with some news a few hours later.

When he heard that Yvette had attempted to commit suicide multiple times in the past few days but was found just in time, Darryl’s heart ached uncontrollably.

The rest of the night, Darryl’s mind was full of thoughts of Yvette, and he only managed to fall asleep after midnight.

The next morning, Darryl arrived at the martial art competition venue and was stunned! He saw that all the martial arts competition participants did not enter the competition venue but gathered at the road outside the entrance.

There were also many royal soldiers on both sides of the road, managing the crowd.

‘Sh*t! Is there a problem with today’s competition?’ Darryl furrowed his brows at the sight before rushing over.

Once he arrived, he could see the New World Emperor and the ministers had arrived at the altar inside the venue.

However, there was no one in the competition venue. All of the participants were gathered on the main street outside.

Darryl had more doubts when he saw that.

‘Sh*t! What does the New World Royal Family want to do?’

Florian walked out from the venue and said, “Everybody! Firstly, congratulations to all of you for reaching where you are today. Today will be the semi-finals of the martial arts competition.”

‘That’s fast, and it’s the semi-finals?’ Darryl couldn't help but look around.
