“Fine, fine…”
Seeing that something was not right, Carl was terrified in his heart. He did not dare to stay any longer. He ran away quickly after replying.
‘I am not bothered by Luca, but I can’t afford to upset Asher.’
Sigh!
Asher took a deep breath when he saw Carl had run far away. He then said to Darryl politely, “Sir, let me help you obtain the Internal Alchemy Elixir later. I will help you to qualify smoothly!”
“That’s not necessary!” Darryl smiled and shook his head, “We shall go on separate ways.”
‘I am a nobody in everyone’s heart. People will suspect something is going on if they see me together with Asher suddenly.’
“It’s fine then.”
Asher did not want to impose when he heard that. He waved farewell to Darryl and left. Darryl did not stay long as he saw Asher leaving. He turned and walked deep into the woods.
Soon, walking past the woods, Darryl could see a big hole on the ground near some ruined buildings in front of him. A few Wind Spirit Wolves were circling the front of the hole’s entrance.
Among them, two of them were Martial Saints.
‘My luck is pretty good today. In just a short while, I met another three wolves.’
Darryl was delighted. He moved and charged over without a second thought.
Thud! Thud!
Darryl quickly killed the few Wind Spirit Wolves in just a few breaths and obtained another two Internal Alchemy Elixir.
However, at that moment, the sound of wolves’ roar was heard, followed by many snow-white shadows charging over!
‘Sh*t! There are so many Wind Spirit Wolves! Have I entered their lair?’
Seeing that, Darryl was shocked but delighted. There were so many Wind Spirit Wolves. There must be a lot of Internal Alchemy Elixirs, too.
