Ambrose scratched his head upon hearing that and did not know whether to laugh or cry.
‘Eira’s mother’s character is truly icy-cold.’
Swoosh!
The surrounding royal guards’ expressions changed slightly upon seeing this scene and discussed among themselves in hushed tones.
‘T-this woman is too arrogant! The Prince is already so polite and even invited them to stay at the palace. This will be an extreme honor for anyone, yet she rejected without barely giving it a thought while still maintaining her cold and indifferent attitude. How unappreciative!’
However, the royal guards did not dare say anything as well since Ambrose said nothing.
“Mother!”
Eira panicked a little and hugged Aurora’s arm before gently swaying it. “Why don’t we stay a little longer? I just met up with Brother Ambrose and haven’t caught up properly yet.”
“You’re just a kid, what’s there to catch up about?” Aurora frowned hard—giving no room for discussion.
Eira was disappointed upon hearing that as she understood her mother’s temper. There was usually no questioning of her words.
However, Eira was smart as she changed her thoughts and thought of something before she quickly said, “Mother, do you know that Ambrose has released Wudang, Shaolin, and the other sects?”
‘What? He has let them go?’
Aurora looked at Ambrose once more. ‘This kid might still be young, but he has righteousness.
Although Aurora had no whatsoever reaction at that moment, her impression of Ambrose changed a little in her heart.
“Mother, Brother Ambrose is a nice person. Why don’t we stay awhile?” Eira pleaded once again at that moment with her watery large eyes flashing with hope—looking pitiful.
“Fine.” Aurora flatly nodded.
