Who was it?
Aurora shuddered upon hearing the movement. Was it Megan? Who would come at such a late hour when she and her daughter were being locked up in prison?
Aurora looked at the prison door and was suddenly relieved upon seeing the person who entered.
At the same time, Eira was delighted, “Master Quinnie?”
Under the dim light, the person at the entrance was a lady with pretty features. She had a graceful body which gave people the impression that she was gentle and tender.
That woman was Quinnie. She was Aurora’s Junior Sister and one of the Elders of the Emei Sect. In the Emei Sect, other than Abbess Mother Serendipity, Quinnie was the closest to Aurora!
Quinnie was previously extremely heartbroken as well when Aurora was forced to leave the Emei Sect.
At that moment, Aurora was both shocked and delighted to see Queenie. She had not expected her Junior Sister to secretly visit her in the dungeon in the middle of the night.
“Quinnie, w-w-why are you here?” Aurora could not help but ask.
Thud!
Quinnie did not respond immediately. She just knelt with a guilt-ridden face. “Master Senior Sister, I’m sorry. I did not stop Megan when she previously openly defamed you at the Millennium Event which caused you to be kicked out from the Emei Sect!”
Sigh!
Aurora sighed gently before smiling. “It’s fine, let’s not mention the past. It’s already in the past after all!”
Aurora has long accepted her fate after all those years wandering outside.
Hmm!
Quinnie nodded and stood up. She cautiously looked outside before quickly walking over and uncuffed the chains around both Aurora and Eira.
Her tender face was full of heartache as she gently said, “Master Senior Sister and Eira, are you alright?”
