Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 2156

“Sister, no!”

The Sect Master trembled upon seeing the situation and immediately tried to stop them, but she was too late. Jackie was chasing after Darryl and had already vanished from her line of sight.

“Quick! Chase after them.” The Sect Master was so anxious that she stomped her feet before yelling and instructed the surrounding disciples.

“Yes, Master!” The surrounding disciples finally came to their senses before engaging their figures and chasing after Jackie and Darryl.

Meanwhile, Darryl had flown for a few minutes. However, he noticed Jackie was getting closer and would soon catch up with him!

Although Jackie’s internal energy was no match for Darryl’s, she was still a Heaven Ascension cultivator after all. Her speed was fast.

However, Darryl was not nervous at all at that moment. On the contrary, he felt a little helpless.

Jackie was way too stubborn to the extent it was a pain in the ass.

“Woo!”

Darryl noticed there was a bare hillside in front of him while muttering to himself. He then took a deep breath, landed gently on the ground, and stopped.

Outside the woods at that moment, Jackie had also stopped in her tracks and looked coldly at Darryl. “You’ve finally stopped running?” Her cold tone was filled with deep hatred and rage.

“Sigh!”

Darryl gently sighed before smiling and looking at Jackie. “Why should I run when a beautiful lady is chasing after me?”

Darryl’s expressions had hints of teasing as he continued, “Jackie, you refuse to let me go. Could it be that you have your eyes on me and want to take me back to the Sun Set Sect to be your man? If that’s the case, you just have to tell it to me straight. There’s no need for all this.”

Darryl’s face was full of smiles when he said that.

Swoosh!

Jackie’s face flushed red upon hearing that and chided, “What an inappropriate talker! Letting people such as you alive will only bring more troubles in the future! I must kill you no matter what today!”

‘That b*stard Darryl. Matters have already reached this stage, yet he still dares to smile and tease me. It won’t be a pity even if he died a million times over!’

“Kill me?”

Darryl snickered, shook his head, and said, “I’ll advise you to give up. Although you may be a Heaven Ascension cultivator, you’re no match for me. Just go back!”

“Pfft!”
