'Wait, what?'
When he heard Darryl's request, Hector jolted and shook his head like a pellet drum. "No way! Our leader has a strange personality, and she hates it when her subordinates take the initiative to look for her."
Darryl furrowed his brows and strolled across to him, unconcerned. He forced Hector's lips open and took out an elixir before stuffing it into his mouth swiftly.
Gulp!
Hector could not react quickly enough and swallowed right away.
"What...what did you feed me?" Hector was terrified as he glanced at Darryl.
Darryl smirked and returned his stare. "Are you familiar with the Heaven Cult Elixir?"
Right.
He had given him Heaven Cult Elixir!
"Heaven...Cult Elixir?" Hector shook internally and sweated profusely as a result of his shock. He remembered the Grandmaster Heaven Cult from a decade earlier in the World Universe. It was a powerful cult, and the Grandmaster of Heaven had fed the Heaven Cult Elixir to his subordinates to control them.
There were rumors that the victim would rot and die if they did not take any antidote within a year.
Hector knew because he was a member of the world of cultivators.
The more he thought, the more panicked Hector became; he stared at Darryl. "What...what do you want from me?"
Darryl kept a calm expression on his face. "It's simple. I'll give you the antidote. All you have to do is take me to your leader. Otherwise, you can wait for your days to be over."
"Fine..." Almost in tears, Hector had to agree.
He was genuinely very hesitant to take Darryl to the leader. The Endless Sky Organization had strict restrictions, and no one could meet the leader if she did not ask for them.
