Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 2532

"Darryl!"

Laura's voice could be heard over his head at that very moment. He noticed a small circular hole at the top of the secret tunnel. Through the round hole, he could see the palace.

Laura spoke to Darryl through the round hole.

"I know you have the White Lily Cold Flame and could use it to absorb all enchanted flames. Both sides of that secret tunnel, however, are blazing hot. Let's see how you can absorb the heat without any fire."

"That's right; the steel walls will get closer gradually. You will either be scalded to death or crushed to death. Darryl, give up your struggle. This is how you will end."

Sh*t!

Darryl scolded softly when he heard that. He noticed both sides of the walls were indeed closing up gradually. Not only that, but the fire behind those walls increased the heat continuously.

Darryl was depressed; Laura was right. The White Lily Cold Flame could absorb any enchanted flames in the realm, but only burning flames. The scorching flame was covered behind the walls, and White Lily Cold Flame could not get through the barriers.

Most importantly, even though Darryl was extremely powerful and shielded by his internal energy, he was still flesh and blood. If he were not scalded to death, then he would be crushed to death.

...

Meanwhile, at the Carter family in the World Universe.

Susan, Yvette, Monica, Ambrose, Eira, and others were gathered in the main hall. They appeared sad and dissatisfied; they looked miserable.

Three years. It had been three years. They had been looking for Darryl's whereabouts everywhere, and they had also sent people to investigate the Chaotic Mountain Range. None of them returned with any news.

Sigh!

At that moment, Susan sighed lightly. Then she said, "It has been so long, and we have not received any news from him. Perhaps something did happen to Darryl?"

Susan's exquisite face looked disappointed and worried.

Yvette, Monica, and the others looked miserable too.
