Donna was even more surprised at what was happening after that.
Darryl chuckled when he noticed Tina's halfhearted apology. "Tina, you don't seem to be sincere. How could you say Donna’s name if you’re apologizing to her? You should call her Senior Sister Donna."
Tina was so angry, but she could not refute. “You!”
Tina managed her dissatisfaction and said to Donna, "Senior Sister Donna, I was wrong..."
She was so vexed when she had to say those words. She never dreamed that one day she would have to apologize to Donna! It had never ever crossed her mind that an outsider would make her lower her pride.
Donna replied softly, "Tina, as long as you won’t be hostile to me and the Celestial Wood Altar in the future, I will let whatever happened in the past slip!"
Donna was kind-hearted and although the situation was a good outlet to vent her anger, she did not want to embarrass Tina since they belonged to the same sect.
Darryl sighed as he thought Donna was too kind.
Then, he looked around at the other Ryukin Gold Altar disciples around him. "Your Senior Sister has apologized. How about you guys?"
The Ryukin Gold Altar disciples looked at each other awkwardly.
The next second, one of the Ryukin Gold Altar disciples greeted Donna with his hands clasped together respectfully. "Senior Sister Donna!"
Thereafter, everyone else followed suit and greeted Donna in unison, "Senior Sister Donna!"
Those Ryukin Gold Altar disciples were very upset, but there was nothing they could do about it. Their Master had agreed to the condition and the entire Ryukin Gold Altar would become a joke if they did not keep their word.
Donna stood there, perplexed. Her face turned red from shyness and her insides were in a flutter.
The Ryukin Gold Altar disciples had always been arrogant whenever they met Donna, but now they have laid down their dignity.
