Zhang Jue stepped out with a smile, pretending to mediate the conflict. "Alright. Darryl, we’re here as guests. Why are you arguing with a disciple? Let's be careful with our words.”
Zhang Jue's eyes flashed with treachery when he suggested that.
Harold, his subordinate, really made no mistake. He had managed to ruffle up the relationship between Ryukin Gold Altar and Darryl. However, he had more important things to do, so he had to stop after he got what he wanted.
Harold shrugged nonchalantly and stopped talking!
Altar Master Alan was furious and did not make any further comments.
Diana sighed and slowly said, "Altar Master Alan, I will investigate this matter."
With that, Diana instructed the disciples beside her, "Go, prepare rooms for Zhang Jue and Darryl. They came so far and they need a good rest."
Diana could not help but steal a look at Harold. She did not realize something was wrong with the ‘Darryl’ in front of her. She had not seen him for three years and wanted to catch up with her disciple. However, it was inconvenient to speak with him when Zhang Jue was around.
"Yes!" a few disciples yelled.
Then, they politely invited Zhang Jue and Harold to leave the room.
A few minutes later, two disciples had brought Zhang Jue and Harold to a guest room in the Holy Saint Sect’s ancillary room.
After the two disciples left, Harold hurriedly closed the door and said respectfully to Zhang Jue, "Master, it's getting late. You should rest early. I’ll guard the door for you!"
Without any outsiders around, Harold no longer called himself Darryl.
Zhang Jue took a deep breath and did not rush to take a rest, but frowned when he thought of something. "I feel that something is wrong about today. I came with the Elysium Gate Sect Master and yet Chang Er was so indifferent to me. She will only see me tomorrow morning!"
