Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 2810

‘Something isn’t right!’ Darryl glowered suspiciously at the peculiar act.

Jack should be on his way back to the Raksasa Tribe in the southwest after arresting the people of the major sects in The Nine Continent. What was he doing in that place?

Darryl was even more shocked when he noticed the surroundings. At the end of the woods was a primitive valley where high cliffs stood tall on its three sides. The valley sat at a very low land area and the deepest part was covered with mist, which exuded a creepy feeling.

He had deja vu when he saw the mist.

A month ago, Darryl was ambushed by Zhang Jue. At the critical moment, he was taken back to The Legendary Island of the Dragons by the Divine Dragon Clan. At that time, Shandy was about to kill him and ordered Darryl to be taken into a deep cave where an enchanted barrier was set up.

He remembered that the deep cave made him shudder and the deepest part of the valley in front of him seemed to be the same as the deep cave on The Legendary Island of the Dragons.

Darryl was not aware Jack was no longer part of the Raksasa Tribe. Jack had taken all the people from the major sects in The Nine Continent to the valley to get onto the Soul Offering Road.

There was more than one route that led to the Soul Offering Road hidden in The Nine Continent; one of the many entrances was in the valley upfront.

Karen cried impatiently when Darryl was thinking, "Darryl, these people from the Raksasa Tribe are evil. Why don't you hurry up and go save the people?"

Karen looked anxious and at the same time, she was somewhat coy. She thought it was Darryl’s duty to go and save the people. He was the Elysium Gate Sect Master, after all.

‘Save the people?’ Darryl chuckled.

"The enemy is incredibly powerful; how could I save them all by myself?" he retorted.

Karen's face flushed as she replied, "I think that you never wanted to save them. Darryl, you kept saying that you have nothing to do with the Raksasa Tribe, but now that we have caught up with them, you chicken out. That’s suspicious! You’re one of them, right?"
