Obviously, those inscriptions were a kind of incantation that can strengthen the defensive power of the protective shield.
Boom!
Jack’s figure had grown tremendously and so had his speed. In the blink of an eye, he was in front of Yennie with the beheading saber in his hand, violently slashing at the shield. A burst of aura permeated the surroundings as smoke filled the area.
Yennie's figure was repelled dozens of feet amidst the smoke.
Whoosh!
She endured the excruciating pain as she turned to grab Darryl before flying out of the valley.
Roar!
Jewel screamed and hurried to catch up. She turned into a stream of light and entered the enchanted beast pouch on Darryl's body. She felt that Yennie had no ill intentions towards Darryl.
Jewel was very weak from the fierce battle she had with Jack, so she immediately rested as soon as she entered the enchanted beach pouch.
In the blink of an eye, Darryl and Yennie disappeared from everyone's sight.
‘F*ck!’ Jack's eyes flashed with endless anger and his face looked extremely sullen.
He almost caught Darryl and little did he know that an unexpected mysterious woman would suddenly appear and rescue him.
Meanwhile, Darryl watched as the mountains and forests flashed past him while the wind whistled through his ears. His brain was getting heavier and heavier from the effects of the Soul Trap Knot.
"Where are you taking me?" Darryl shouted.
Yennie glanced at him and said faintly, "Don't talk first! You'll know later!"
She sounded soft and cold.
Darryl was speechless in the face of Yennie’s coldness.
Soon, Darryl became even more groggy till he finally shut his eyes.
