Lord Kenny’s condition did not look good. Ambrose took a deep breath and was worried.

Earlier, Ambrose ordered the eunuch to bring pills found in the palace, but Lord Kenny was not showing any improvement. Apart from that, the ministers proposed many solutions but none of them were useful.

“Imperial Physician Lane is here!” someone announced.

There was a commotion and an old minister with silver hair walked into the room. He looked old but still alert. He was the famous Imperial Physician of the New World royal palace, Patton Laine.

All the ministers walked forward as Ambrose rushed to stand up. Patton was a Senior Minister for the royal family; even Lord Kenny would show his respect.

“Imperial Physician Laine, please take a look.”

“Yes, His Majesty’s condition is really terrible.”

“Don’t worry, Imperial Physician Laine must have a way.”

Everyone spoke while Ambrose felt frustrated.

The next second, Ambrose looked around and said coldly, “Imperial Physician Laine is here. Everyone, please calm down. Please leave and don’t disturb Imperial Physician Laine while he treats His Majesty.”

As he spoke, the ministers quickly shut their mouths and walked out of the room one after another. Although Ambrose was not His Majesty’s biological son, he was the favorite son. Besides, Ambrose was really powerful and he was regarded highly by the royal family. No one dared to speak against him after he spoke.

After everyone left, Ambrose said politely to Patton, “Imperial Physician Laine, come take a look at my father.”

Patton nodded and examined Lord Kenny as he started to check his pulse.
