"Who's there?"
Tina opened her eyes when she heard the noise; she shrieked. Then, her gaze was locked onto Darryl.
Oh, no!
Darryl was startled. He quickly stopped in his tracks and met Tina's gaze. He thought he would have no choice but fight Tina after he was discovered.
"Are you new?"
Just as Darryl was about to fire an attack, Tina asked coldly with a trace of contempt in her tone, "Do you know when you are right now? How dare you walk around so freely!"
Tina did not even notice that the guy was Darryl in disguise.
Darryl sighed in relief and said, "Senior Sister, please don't be angry. I didn't mean it."
Darryl chuckled inwardly.
He thought he could find an excuse to leave since Tina did not even notice his disguise.
Tina furrowed her eyebrows; she was very unhappy to be disturbed during her meditation.
"You—"
Tina was too lazy to carry on with the nonsense; she was about to tell Darryl to get out when she heard footsteps outside the door.
Soon, several voices spoke respectfully. "Senior Sister? Are you asleep?"
'Damn it! Why is someone here at this time?'
Darryl was stupefied.
Tina was annoyed, and she replied rudely, "It's so late already. What's the matter?"
"We have something to ask you. I hope you can let us in, Senior Sister."
"Yes, please let us in..." several people said from outside the door.
