A smile appeared on Darryl’s face when he spoke. ‘This seems to be the place where Alan cultivates.’
Beside him, Tina was feeling nervous. ‘I led Darryl here; what am I going to do if Master is angry with me? I had no choice. I can only take it one step at a time.’
At that moment, Darryl urged calmly, “You enter first. Don’t try to play any tricks; you know the consequences!”
Tina nodded and bit her lips as she entered while Darryl followed closely behind her.
‘Sh*t!’ Darryl was stunned the moment he entered.
He saw bookshelves by the walls at the main hall on the first floor of the tower. The shelves were filled with scriptures of Taoism and some were cultivation scriptures. This place was really a treasure trove.
However, there were only walls surrounding the main hall; there were no doors or stairs, not to mention Alan.
Creak.
At that moment, he saw Tina walk in front of a wall to activate a secret button behind a painting. Then, a secret door appeared in front of their eyes.
“Master is inside,” Tina said softly.
Darryl nodded, amazed. ‘Sh*t, this is where the Sect Master cultivates. It’s really hidden and secluded. Luckily, I have Tina to lead the way; otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to locate it easily.’
A smile appeared on Darryl’s face as he said to Tina, “You must cooperate with me later….”
Then, he told her about his plan. Tina trembled when she heard his plan and was terrified. However, she had no other choice; they were already there. She could only nod in agreement.
She walked in front of Darryl through the secret door. Behind the door was a meters-long, dark tunnel. Once you passed the tunnel, it opened to a secret, spacious room.
Darryl could not help but take a deep breath the moment he entered the secret room.
