A sinister laugh came from the gap between the rocks. “Tsk. Tsk! Young man, I thought you were powerful? Come and catch me if you dare. I’ll tell you where those people are after you catch me.”
‘Sh*t!’ Darryl cursed to himself, furious as he sprinted into the gap.
Once inside, he saw the gap was really narrow and the tunnel that led inside was messy and complicated. It was like a huge maze. He also saw the Mirror Devil was standing not far away.
The Mirror Devil had an evil grin when it saw Darryl was inside.
“You’re brave, young man. You actually had the guts to come in here!” it said with an evil glint in its eyes.
The Mirror Devil had lured Darryl in there intentionally. They were in the Evil Spirit Tomb, which was in the center of the King of Death’s Cauldron. Evil auras would gather there and there was also a Demon Pagoda deep inside. It was extremely dangerous.
Since Darryl had a spiritual aura from heaven, the Mirror Devil thought there was no other way for it to beat Darryl, so it lured him into the Demon Pagoda.
Once Darryl entered the Demon Pagoda, there was no way he would live.
Darryl’s gaze was locked on the Mirror Devil as he questioned, “Where’s my sister and my friend?”
The Mirror Devil stayed quiet and just grinned before it turned to run in the direction of the Demon Pagoda.
“Sh*t!” Darryl chased it.
Eventually, they arrived in front of a stone door and the Mirror Devil ran into it, with Darryl following closely behind.
Then, the Mirror Devil let out a sinister laugh and activated the trap at the stone door. “Ha-ha-ha!”
There was a loud bang as the stone door shut suddenly. Then, the Mirror Devil transformed into a black mist before escaping through the gap in the stone door.
Everything happened so quickly and since Darryl was not familiar with the surroundings, he was instantly trapped behind the stone door.
