Cyclops and a few others guarding by the door spotted Darryl, and they attacked him right away.
"Hey, Kid!"
The wicked Cyclops wore a malicious grin as he said to Darryl, "You are quite courageous, I must say. You are here alone!"
'Idiot!'
Darryl did not bother to talk; he walked into the cottage right away.
When he got inside, he saw Maverick sat next to a fireplace, fidgeting an exquisite dagger in his hand. He had a predatory smile on his face, and he was emanating a powerful aura.
Huh!
Maverick's gaze locked onto Darryl as soon as he made his way into the cottage.
Maverick felt that the person in front of him had no saint energy in his body, yet it was strange that Cyclops and the rest of his men could not beat him!
Interesting!
After observing Darryl for a few seconds, Maverick said, "So, you are the Damien family's live-in son-in-law? I heard that you are good at fighting!"
Darryl was too lazy to engage in the nonconsequential talk and said coldly, "Yes, that's me. Where is Lolita?"
Maverick laughed. He smiled coldly as his eyes flickered cruelly. He was jeering at Darryl. "You are a kept man, aren't you? You are so worried about Miss Lolita. Are you afraid that something will happen to her, and you can't be a live-in son-in-law anymore?"
Cyclops and the other men also mocked Darryl.
"That kid does look like a kept man at first glance!"
"Boss, stop talking nonsense with him."
"F*ck! That kid punched me several times during the day. It's payback time tonight."
Darryl did not panic at all, even when he heard their loud mocking. Instead, he chuckled lightly and sat on the chair across Maverick and crossed his leg. He did not panic; he felt at ease and indifferent about the situation.
F*ck!
