"Ugh!"
Finally, Jordan was the first to react and mocked Darryl. "What qualifications do you have to comment on the sword? Do you know anything about metalwork? This must be your first time seeing this, right?"
Everyone around him joined in to mock Darryl.
"Yes, he is only a live-in son-in-law, yet he's so boastful!"
"He acted like a know-it-all. He certainly is sick in the head!"
"That's true! Otherwise, I would not spend 10,000 gold coins on a useless piece of jade."
The mockery from the crowd made Lolita very anxious. She tugged Darryl's arm. "Watch your words!"
Darryl was so unruly. How dare he pass judgment on the huge sword that Count Rowan had just made.
Darryl smiled and signaled to Lolita not to be nervous.
"Interesting!"
Count Rowan locked his eyes on Darryl and chuckled. "Your name is Darryl, right? You said that the big sword I made is very ordinary. Why? Do you also know metalwork?"
Count Rowan was seemingly calm on the surface, but he was a little angry.
How dare a live-in son-in-law question his metalwork!
Darryl smiled faintly. "I do know a little!"
Then, Darryl pointed to the big sword and said, "Your metalwork skills are decent, but you lack experience. That sword is flashy and impractical. It's good as a piece of ornament but not much use in a battle!"
Darryl was right. Compared with the weapons in the Nine Mainland, the big sword was nothing special.
Wow!
The crowd was in an uproar once again.
