Sigh!
Yuri bit her lip in response to the respect shown to her. She said, "Your Majesty, I think you must have misunderstood. I am not the Goddess of Light! I was just passing by Sunset City when I saw the army from the Crescent Moon Principality killing innocent people, so I had to help."
What?
The Duke, Albert, and the others were shocked to hear that!
'Isn't she the goddess of light?'
"Ah..."
Finally, Albert was the first to react. He looked dubiously at Yuri. "Honorable Goddess of Light, you must be joking. You killed Crescent Moon Principality Army's commander-in-chief, Eric, with just a single strike, and many people saw it. Who else can be so powerful?"
Yuri's lovely face was solemn. "I'm not the Goddess of Light! My real name is Yuri, and my cultivation strength is completely different from the saint energy. Therefore, it may seem a little weird to all of you."
Yuri was a kind-hearted woman; she did not want to pretend as the Goddess of Light, so she clarified it to them.
Huh!
The Duke reacted and smiled faintly. "It might have been a misunderstanding, but it doesn't matter. Beautiful Lady, you have helped us to defend the Sunset City, so you are a dear friend to all of us in the Day Rise Principality."
Even though it was a little embarrassing, the Duke was a forgiving man. He was not angry at all!
Yuri breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Your Majesty, I am looking for a man called Darryl, but there is no clue at all. May I implore for your help to look for him?"
The Duke's eyes flickered as he pondered that. Then, he replied with a smile, "I can help you with that, but you have to agree on one condition."
Great!
Yuri was pleased to hear that the Duke was willing to help her. She quickly said, "What is your condition, Your Majesty?"
Yuri would agree to 100 conditions as long as she could locate Darryl!
