It was Darryl's kindness that led him to be trapped in the siege with the guards from the prominent families. It was difficult for him to break through the siege and get to Grady.
Finally, after more than three hours of fighting, all the guards were sprawled on the ground. They were worn out and completely lost the ability to carry on with the fight. None of them could even find the strength to stand on their feet.
On the other hand, Darryl stood proudly with his Heavenly Halberd, looking all majestic and lofty.
Huh!
The Mayor, Seth, and guests from the prominent families were dumbfounded when they saw Darryl's stupendous strength.
Everyone was utterly shocked.
So many of them fought against Darryl, yet they failed to stop him!
"Grady!"
Darryl stared at Grady closely. His cold voice reverberated throughout the manor. "Get ready to die; no one can save you now!"
"You—"
Grady trembled. He panicked; his legs went jellied instantly. "You— you—"
Grady was finding it difficult to speak under the immense shock and pressure—Darryl was terrifyingly powerful.
Darryl did not waste time on nonconsequential talk; he held his Heavenly Halberd and approached Grady step by step. Every step he took was like a hammer on Grady's heart.
Buzz!
Suddenly, a fierce wind blew at the horizon before a charming figure whizzed into sight quickly. The person had a charming figure and beautiful features, but she was as cold as frost!
It was Bonnie!
Bonnie was stunned to find out from Moloch that Darryl had become a live-in son-in-law in Pearl City, so she hurried to him.
'Darryl! It's him!'
Bonnie was shocked to see Darryl standing proud in the manor.
Since her escape from the Illusion Virtual World, Bonnie had never feared anyone except for Darryl. She got agitated when she learned w that Darryl was on the same continent as herself.
Whoosh!
