F*ck!
Darryl clenched his fists; his eyes instantly became red at the sight.
Thea had given up her life to save him. He would be an insensitive and inhuman person had he left her alone.
Seth laughed.
He was pleased to see that his subordinates had surrounded Thea. "Thea, I did advise you to give up." Seth's gaze swept across Darryl contemptuously as he spoke.
Seth was very cautious of Darryl, but when he saw how weak the man was at that time, he was not afraid of Darryl running away.
Seth decided to catch Thea first. He knew that Darryl would not run away after they caught Thea.
Thea did not respond to Seth. She bit her lip and continued to fight fiercely with the guards, but she was obviously not as fast and energetic as before. She slowed after she used up a lot of her saint energy.
Sigh!
At that moment, Darryl took a deep breath and picked up a rock from the side.
'What is he doing?'
Seth frowned when he saw what Darryl was doing. 'Is Darryl trying to use the rocks to repel the enemies after knowing that he had nowhere to run?'
At the same time, Thea grew anxious. "Darryl, why are you still here? Go!" Darryl did not take the chance of her drawing the guards' attention to run away quickly, but he had meddled with the rocks instead. What was he trying to do?
However, Darryl did not respond. He continued to move the rocks.
There were plenty of stones amidst the bushes outside the city gate; Darryl gathered quite a number of them effortlessly. He had placed a lot of rocks in front of him while Thea kept urging him to go.
Darryl was using those rocks to set up a formation.
He was too severely injured and could not help Thea in the fight, so he could only deploy a formation.
