“There’s no need,” Darryl rejected immediately without thinking.
‘The most important thing for me now is to find Yuri. I can’t let the Paladins follow me as I do that,’ he thought.
Yalena did not insist and said with a smile, “Alright then. It’s getting, please rest, Sir!”
Yalena had a gentle look on her face. Her character was totally different from her arrogant behavior in the temple.
Darryl nodded and bid farewell to Yalena as he returned to his room. He slept soundly that night.
An anxious voice shouted from outside Darryl’s door early in the morning, “Mister Darryl!”
Darryl rubbed his eyes, got up and opened the door. He could not laugh when he saw the situation outside. Golden Lion Paladin was standing outside his door, twisting and turning his body as he looked uncomfortable.
The moment the door opened, Golden Lion Paladin acted as if he was grasping at straws while he pleaded with Darryl, "Mister Darryl– oh no, Your Highness!" I was wrong and I offended you yesterday. Please, forgive me. Please, heal me.”
After betting with Darryl last night, Golden Lion Paladin was not bothered at first. He thought Darryl was only bluffing. However, soon he felt something was wrong and there was a tingling sensation all over his body; it lasted the entire night. Golden Lion Paladin was tortured terribly until he felt like he was almost dying. He realized Darryl really was Maser Franklin’s descendant, so he hurried over to Darryl’s room early in the morning to beg for mercy.
When he saw how pitiful Golden Lion Paladin looked, Darryl could not help laughing.
"It's good to know you were wrong,” he said as he nodded.
Then, he raised his hand and unsealed Golden Lion Paladin’s Fengma acupoint.
In an instant, Golden Lion Paladin felt the unbearable tingling, itching feeling all over his body disappear instantly.
"Your Highness, from now on, I, Golden Lion Paladin, will be loyal to you all my life,” he said in admiration of Darryl.
Darryl waved his hand and said, "That's all right; I'm going to leave soon. Please, get ready."
