The dark shadow was just a chair.
Boom!
The guards were too slow to dodge away; one of them was hit in the head and passed out right away.
F*ck!
Vernon and his subordinates were shocked and annoyed by the sudden attack. They turned to look behind the ivory bed.
A handsome figure with a hint of coldness on his resolute face emerged slowly.
It was Darryl.
The Queen also trembled. 'Since when has that guy been hiding here? I didn't even notice him.'
All eyes were on Darryl.
"I can't be bothered about you people committing treason, but I can't sit and watch you bully a woman." Darryl stretched his body and spoke slowly.
After half an hour of dispelling work, the anesthetic effect in Darryl's body had disappeared entirely.
Vernon's face became gloomy after listening to Darryl. He said coldly, "Who the hell are you? How dare you talk to me like that? Are you tired of living?"
After that, Vernon glanced at the Queen, and he seemed to have made wild guesses in his mind. Then, he laughed and mocked her. "Ah, I see. So this is the guy you've been hiding in your room? Well, too bad. Both of you will be executed tonight."
Vernon believed that Darryl was the man the Queen had hid in her room. Otherwise, why would Darryl be hiding behind the ivory bed?
The Queen's lovely face was blushing. She was ashamed and angry at the same time. She shouted at Vernon, "Shut up! I don't even know him."
How could she keep quiet and bear it when Vernon had not only committed treason but also slandered her!
Darryl also said, "Yes, I have nothing to do with the Queen, so don't you talk nonsense here."
