What?
At the same time, Jameson saw Darryl, and he was stupefied.
Jameson had kept his eyes on the Queen, so he had not noticed Darryl at all. When he saw Darryl, he felt his brain freeze.
'Darren was sent to the Golden Lion Principality as a prisoner. Shouldn't he be kept in prison? How did he become a guard? He looks like he has quite a high status here!'
Darryl sneered at Jameson's astonished look.
"Darren!"
The Queen said softly, "Everyone recommends you, so what do you think?"
Darryl took a deep breath and put on a faint smile. "Since you all trust me so much, then I shall handle that friendly match."
"Very well!" The Queen nodded and then instructed the guard behind her to go and choose a few golden lions.
Soon, three golden lions were chosen; their level of strength was similar to those golden lions brought by Jameson. They were at the high-ranked saint honor, middle-ranked saint honor, and low-ranked saint honor.
At that instance, everyone around Darryl quieted down. At the same time, their eyes were darting around nervously as they felt conflicted toward the match.
Even though the strength of the golden lions on both sides was the same, the Golden Lion Principality would be embarrassed if they were to lose the match.
Jameson was grinning at the sight of the slightly perturbed crowd.
'Those people from the Golden Lion Principality seem to be nervous. It would not be a problem at all if I lost this match. After all, the Day Rise Principality is not an expert in taming the golden lions. On the other hand, if I were to win the match, the Duke would definitely shower me with rewards upon my return.'
Jameson thought and looked gleefully at Darryl. "Mister Darren, are you ready?"
Darryl chuckled and responded tersely, "It's just a match between the golden lions; why should I be prepared? Tell me about the rules."
'Rules?'
