Darryl smiled at Yalena’s overwhelming excitement when she saw him. He walked over and lifted his hand to release Yalena's acupoints. Then, he discharged his internal energy to break the chains on Yalen’as hands and feet.
Yalena was free, but she was still weak after being detained for an extended period of time. She got out of bed, feeling excited and looked at Darryl closely. “Teacher, is this real?”
Her eyes blurred with tears when she spoke.
"Yes, I’m real." Darryl smiled faintly.
Yalena was so excited and happy to hear Darryl’s reply; she could not hold herself together and threw herself into Darryl's arms. "Teacher, I'm so scared these days. I'm afraid that the Temple of Light will be destroyed completely. But, now that you are back, I’m sure that everything will be alright."
Darryl was taken aback momentarily when he felt Yalena in his arms. Then, he smiled. “Yalena, please calm down.”
He thought Yalena had become even more beautiful after they had been apart for a while. Even though she was detained, her transcendent temperament was still there.
Yalena heard Darryl and realized she was a little too excited. She blushed with shame and quickly let go. For a while, the atmosphere was a little awkward.
A few seconds later, Yalena reacted and said, "Teacher, that woman, Bonnie, is very powerful. Let's..."
In the middle of their conversation, they heard faint footsteps coming closer.
Yalena trembled and grew flustered.
"It must be Bonnie. She’s been coming around very often these past two days, asking me to reveal the secrets of the Temple of Light,” she said in a panic, becoming upset.
