On both sides of the main hall, a dozen men and women were standing quietly, each of them dressed in black, and he could tell they were all very powerful. Darryl instantly recognized Madame Pandora amongst them.
He became furious at the sight of her. He was right; she had lied to him! He started to wonder where she had brought him. Madame Pandora bit her lips; she felt guilty when she sensed Darryl glaring at her. She would have sent him away if she had known Rosalind was spying on them.
Darryl swept his eyes across his surroundings until his gaze fell on the throne, which caused him to be startled and gasp. A beautiful and sexy woman sat on the throne. She appeared to be around 30 years old and was dressed in a long black dress, which accentuated her figure even more. Her facial features were absolutely alluring though a little cold and mysterious.
He quickly sensed her power and was startled to discover she was a high-ranked saint god. He would soon find out that the woman was called Alison Patten, sect master of the Fantasy Sect!
"Your name is Darren?" asked Alison coldly, cutting into his trance.
"Yes!" Darryl replied with a nod.
"What is your relationship with her?" she asked as she pointed at Madame Pandora.
Darryl did not know how to answer her. If he said she was a friend, then that would disregard the night they spent together, and if he said she was his lover, then that would not be entirely true.
While he was thinking about it, Madame Pandora had already stepped forward and, in a courteous tone, said, "Sect Master, we're only friends."
"Was my question directed at you?" Alison asked unhappily.
Seeing she had angered her, Madame Pandora quickly stepped back into her line.
Darryl took a deep breath and asked, "May I know where I am?"
"Have you ever heard of the Fantasy Sect?" Alison asked, sidestepping his question.
Darryl was startled when he heard those two words. He had been in that world for close to half a year and had, of course, heard about that mysterious Fantasy Sect, which was both just and evil. They did whatever they wanted and observed no rules apart from their own. Because of that, many people, even the Temple of Lights, had wanted to wipe out the organization. However, not one of them could find their headquarters.
It never crossed Darryl's mind he would be captured and brought there. 'So she's one of them,' Darryl thought when he sneaked a glance at Madame Pandora.
"Do you know why we've brought you here?" Alison asked. Her voice was soft, gentle, and cold at the same time.
