Finally, one of the disciples recovered from his shock and asked, "Where did this strong vibration come from?"
Mr. Farrer pondered it and said, "A skilled martial arts expert must have appeared. The tremors seem to be coming from Mount Rochsor. Hurry up and get ready now. We'll go there and check it out."
"Yes, Teacher!"
Meanwhile, in the Blood Hand Organization's main hall, Olena sat quietly and looked very serious. More than a dozen elite subordinates stood before her. She had summoned them to ask about the tremors.
Olena swept her eyes across the subordinates and asked, "Did you find out what happened?"
An elite swiftly stepped forward and said, "Chief, according to our investigation, the tremors seem to be coming from Mount Rochsor—"
"Chief, Mount Rochsor is the highest mountain range in the entire continent. I'm afraid something huge must have happened to cause a tremor like that. I suggest we check it out right away!" another elite said.
Olena nodded in agreement. "Yes, summon the others and head to Mount Rochsor immediately."
Meanwhile, back at Darryl's side. As the shaking became stronger, the power raging across the altar also became stronger. Darryl managed to resist the power with his internal energy, but it was different for the weaker Madame Pandora, who had fainted after it had gone dark.
It was a good long while before the tremors wholly subsided. Darryl exhaled deeply and was about to check on Madame Pandora, but he suddenly sensed something strange behind him. He immediately looked backward and was instantly shocked by what he saw.
He saw an old man standing quietly behind him. The old man was dressed in a linen robe and looked ordinary, but his eyes were full of spirits, and his body had an aura that could not be defined. What shocked him, even more, was that that old man was not alive but was formed entirely by the aggregation of energy. The old man looked real despite being a hologram. He also had an indescribable feeling about the old man as if he was both familiar and distant.
"Quite impressive!" Finally, the old man looked at Darryl quietly and said, "It has been nearly two thousand years. I thought that no one would ever be able to find this place. Even if someone finds this place accidentally, it is impossible to break the six formations I set up. But I did not expect that you would easily break them. You are young and have such a high level of accomplishment in the formation technique; if my guess is correct, you are not from this continent but the Nine Mainland."
Darryl was shocked. He stared at the old man blankly and was utterly struck dumb.
'Amazing! How did he guess where I'm from? Wait a minute—'
In the next second, Darryl had arranged all of his thoughts and said respectfully, "May I ask if you're Master Franklin?"
No one in the entire Roland Continent knew where he came from, except for Master Franklin. After all, Master Franklin was from the Nine Mainland too.
"Bingo!" Master Franklin said with a nod and a smile.
Darryl involuntarily inhaled deeply, and it was a good long while before he managed to calm down. The corpse on the throne of the altar must be Master Franklin's body. Two thousand years ago, Master Franklin must have broken through to the Godly Region. It was that, or he had found a place to live in seclusion, but he did not expect to die on Mount Rochsor.
At the same time, Darryl also realized that Master Franklin had built that huge maze-like place, but he could not figure out his motive for creating that place.
