"You—"
Finally, Judith snapped back into her senses and asked, "Are you from the Imperial Sky Palace?" Judith's tone was much softer than before; she was no longer hostile.
A few days ago, there was news from the Imperial Sky Palace that they would send help to Spirited Fruit Garden, and Darryl had introduced himself as a newcomer.
Due to that coincidence, Judith assumed the Imperial Sky Palace had sent Darryl to them.
'Imperial Sky Palace?'
Darryl was stunned to hear that name.
'Imperial Sky Palace... What a domineering name! Is it where the Nine Heaven Emperor, the supreme ruler of the Godly Region, lives?' Darryl thought to himself.
Then, he nodded at Judith without hesitation and said, "Yes, I am."
Darryl had been in the world of cultivators for years; he was experienced in managing tight situations. He could read from Judith's expression that he had successfully made the impression that he was the newcomer she was expecting.
Phew!
Judith cracked a faint smile and said, "I'm sorry for being rude earlier. Since you're the newcomer, then you're one of us."
The other fairies quickly agreed with Judith; their faces were full of smiles.
"He must be the newcomer from the Imperial Sky Palace."
"I was shocked. I thought you had trespassed into this place by mistake."
Darryl breathed a sigh of relief when Judith and the rest of the fairies let down their guards.
'I'm surprised that I could get myself out of that sticky situation just by talking nonsense. I'm so lucky!'
"That's right!"
Judith looked at Darryl and asked curiously, "What's your name?"
