Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 3572

Ghost Valley Sage was shocked after he heard the full account of the story. He was appalled by the audacity Darryl had to not only steal precious fruits but to also disguise himself as Nine Heaven Emperor. Any one of those sins Darryl committed was enough to cost him his life.

Darryl dared not blabber on when he noticed that Ghost Valley Sage was quiet after he recounted his experience. This made him nervous.

Ghost Valley Sage burst out in laughter after noticing how nervous Darryl was. “Look at how flustered you are! It’s no big deal, even if you stole some of those precious fruits. The precious fruits in the Spirited Fruit Garden grow in great abundance; Nine Heaven Emperor can't finish them anyway. It’s not a big deal if you stole some of the fruits.

"As for Grunt and the soldiers who saw you disguised as Nine Heaven Emperor, they wouldn’t dare do anything to you since they don’t have any conclusive evidence to hold you accountable."

He seemed completely relaxed and at ease as he spoke. Almost as if those matters were no big deal. Ghost Valley Safe knew Darryl had realized what a serious offense he had committed. He was an aloof person who did not display his emotions, and he was also protective of Darryl. He comforted Darryl, who appeared anxious.

Darryl’s mood lightened up immediately. What more should Darryl be afraid of after listening to Ghost Valley Sage’s comforting assurance.

"Darryl, it's dangerous that you stumbled into the Godly Region. From now on, you will be staying here with me. I will send you away after I activate the teleport gateway,” Ghost Valley Sage said solemnly to Darryl and looked serious as he gave Darryl advice.

Although Ghost Valley Sage was not afraid of Nine Heaven Emperor, Darryl had committed a heinous crime by stealing the precious fruits and disguising himself as the Nine Heaven Emperor. Therefore, it was better for Darryl to stay with Ghost Valley Sage to guarantee his safety.

Darryl nodded and asked curiously, "Master, how long do you reckon I should be waiting here for?"

"You’ll be staying here for the next two or three days. Remember that you can’t wander around, let alone leave Ghost Mountain, got it?" Ghost Valley Sage pondered momentarily before replying.
