Finally, Colori Phoenix reacted and glared at Garuda as she said, "What are you doing? Have you gone mad?" She was indescribably furious. She and Peacock Lilibet were the Red Sparrow Queen's right-hand women, and they enjoyed a very close relationship with each other. She could not hold back her anger when she saw Garuda ambush Peacock Lilibet.
"Yes, I have gone mad, indeed!" Garuda looked smug and paid no mind to her anger. "How can I revive the Flying Feathers Alliance if I don't subdue you and Peacock Lilibet? So don't blame me for doing what I have to do!"
"Garuda, you're truly despicable!" Colori Phoenix shouted as she trembled. She shot out her slender hands at Garuda, wanting to capture him in her claw-like grip. She had infused her power in that attack, and wherever she passed, the space around her would distort. It was a shocking sight to behold.
Garuda did not panic. "Colori Phoenix, I might have been afraid of you before, but today, both you and Peacock Lilibet are going down no matter what!" His eyes became cold, and powerful energy burst forth from his body. Then, he charged toward Colori Phoenix with lightning-fast speed.
In the next second, the two figures collided in mid-air. Immediately afterward, Colori Phoenix's painful gasps could be heard, and she was sent flying backward tens of meters away.
Garuda was right. Under normal circumstances, he was no match for her at all. After all, Colori Phoenix was the strongest amongst all of the Red Sparrow Queen's subordinates, but the fierce battle with Darryl had taken a lot out of her, so it was not surprising she was no match for Garuda, who was at the peak of his power. However, Colori Phoenix had a cold and arrogant personality and would never admit defeat. After steadying herself, she charged toward Garuda again.
"Huh! Don't you know when to give up?" Garuda let out a cold snort, and all his power exploded as he met her head-on once more.
They were shuttling back and forth in mid-air. Each collision kicked up waves of terrifying energy fluctuations. Everyone was silenced by what they saw. Peacock Lilibet was biting her lips. She was extremely worried about Colori Phoenix.
In the blink of an eye, after a few rounds, Colori Phoenix slowed down, and her delicate and arrogant face was ashen.
"You should give it up now!" Garuda grinned and sped up suddenly, and then he slammed his palm down on her. The attack was as fast as lightning, and there was no way Colori Phoenix could avoid it. She could only bite her lips as she activated the remaining energy in her body to meet it head-on.
In the next second, the two palms collided, and a low hum echoed through the air. Colori Phoenix retreated dozens of steps, and she looked frightened. She was no match for Garuda, who was at the peak of his power, at her condition. There was a tightness in her chest. She steadied herself and looked at Garuda in shock and anger. It frustrated her to no end that she would lose to Garuda like that.
Garuda laughed coldly. He looked smugly at Colori Phoenix as he mockingly said, "Now, now, there's no need to look at me like that. You just need to accept that you're no match for me!"
Then, he pulled a golden rope from his body as he walked toward her and used it to bound Colori Phoenix and Peacock Lilibet. The rope was woven from golden feathers, mixed with unique metals, and was extremely tough. It was the Garuda clan's unique golden feather rope.
