He did not mind telling them the truth because Peacock Lilibet and Colori Phoenix had been captured. That made the two captives tremble with indescribable sorrow and outrage. 'He's truly shameless for doing something so immoral!'
At the same time, they glanced at Darryl in unison with apologetic and guilty eyes. After all, Darryl was telling the truth and blamed themselves for not believing him.
"Garuda, you must die for your heinous crime!" Peacock Lilibet shouted sorrowfully. Colori Phoenix was glaring at him furiously, wishing she could skin him right then and there.
Garuda chuckled coldly and said, "Fools! As if killing me will bring the Queen back to life." Then his tone turned sharp as he said, "The most important thing right now is to get the Flying Feather Alliance to regroup and win the war against the White Tiger King. I promise I will treat you well as long as you pledge your allegiance to me. Then, we'll defeat the White Tiger King together, unite all the demons, and get the hell out of here. You'll be rewarded for your merits."
Peacock Lilinet and Colori Phoenix looked at each other with fear in their eyes. 'He did all that to force us to pledge our allegiance to him!'
At the same time, Darryl, who was not far away, could not help but chuckle. Garuda had finally shown his true colors.
"Keep dreaming! There's no way you can lead the Flying Feathers Alliance!" Peacock Lilibet shouted determinedly. He must be delusional if he thought that they would surrender to him when he was the one who caused the Red Sparrow Queen's death.
"Yeah! Things would not end well for you!" Colori Phoenix shouted.
Instead of being furious, Garuda smiled. Then he looked at the other Flying Feathers Alliance members and asked, "Are you willing to surrender?"
He knew Peacock Lilibet and Colori Phoenix would not surrender so easily, so he decided to start with their subordinates.
As soon as he asked that, a member stepped forward, glared at him, and said, "Garuda, you're a shameless scum. You caused the death of the Red Sparrow Queen and ambushed Peacock Lilibet and Colori Phoenix. And now you want to pretend to get the Flying Feathers Alliance to regroup? I would rather die than surrender to a shameless, unloyal scum like you!"
"Very well then," Garuda said with a nod. A savage expression flashed across his face as he cast an attack at him.
There was no time for the member to react at all. With a pathetic howl, he was instantly sent flying with blood spurting everywhere until he finally landed on the ground, dead.
The remaining Flying Feathers Alliance members turned pale and were trembling. There was no end to Garuda's cruelty.
