Quincy knew that Yuri was a fairy born from the air of Heaven and Earth, so she should not underestimate her extraordinary powers. Under normal circumstances, she would not behave so rashly toward her opponent, but she was blinded by rage after the other woman rescued Dax.
Yuri arched her brow slightly and then raised her hand to meet Quincy's attack head-on. Her movement was light but fast as her right hand landed squarely on the tip of Quincy's sword. Immediately, Quincy felt powerful energy coursed through her body, and she was sent flying dozens of steps backward. She could feel the aura in her elixir field all messed up.
'Sh*t, she's strong! Her power has increased in the three years she has been gone! Even my Ten Thousand Ancestor Sword is no match for her!'
Dax became excited when he saw what had happened. He relaxed as he thought, 'She came just in time. I can rest for a bit now that she's here.'
"Give it up, Quincy! You're no match for me at all!" Yuri said softly as she sized her up.
Quincy bit her lips with rage. 'How dare a fairy like her look down on the Empress of the South Cloud World? I will not take that lying down!'
"I've already said that my sister is coming back with me today, no matter what!" she said determinedly while she clenched her sword tightly.
Yuri sighed softly and said, "It looks like you still haven't gotten a clear grasp of your situation."
She raised her hand again, and the temperature around them dropped rapidly. Immediately afterward, a ray of condensed light shot toward Quincy.
Quincy's exquisite face froze when she felt the terrifying power contained in the light. 'Was she holding back just now?' The light nearly reached her, and without hesitation, she quickly blocked it with her treasured sword.
The sword shattered into a million pieces as soon as the light crashed against it. Quincy let out a gasp, and her body was sent flying backward a hundred meters away before landing on the ground. She had spent much of her energy fighting with Dax and had none left to fight against Yuri. Yuri was a fairy, after all. She had a thousand years of cultivation experience behind her before she even left the Illusion Virtual World with Darryl. There was no way Quincy could match her power.
"Your Majesty!" the royal troops shouted as they rushed toward her.
Quincy bit her lips so tightly that it almost bled as her gaze locked onto Yuri. She felt shocked and frustrated. If Yuri had not come, she would be on the way home with her sister.
"Let's go!" Quincy ordered. No matter how frustrated she was, there was no way she could win in a fight against Yuri since the internal energy in her elixir field was all messed up. Yuri was just too powerful. She would become seriously injured if she continued to fight her.
Under the protection of her army, Quincy quickly evacuated the area. Dax and the rest of his group sighed with relief. Then, they all turned to look at Yuri.
Chester could not conceal the excitement and puzzlement he was feeling as he asked Yuri, "Miss Yuri, what's going on? Didn't you get swept into the chaotic vortex with Darryl three years ago? How did you come back? And where's Darryl? Is he with you?" His eyes were filled with urgency as he asked the string of questions.
