"Yes!"
Several Garuda clan members responded and hurried off to prepare the items upon hearing the order.
After a while, a fire pit was set up in the open space outside. A huge cauldron was placed over it. The cauldron turned red from the continuous burning.
Then, they took Darryl to the cauldron.
'F*ck!'
The scorching temperature from the fire hit Darryl's face; he was shocked and furious. Then, he looked at Garuda and said, "Garuda, don't cross the line."
'F*ck! Garuda is ruthless. To gain the Power of Bird Ancestor, he wants to turn me into a pill.'
At the same time, Peacock Lilibet and Colori Phoenix, who were next to Darryl, were frightened.
"You think I'm crossing the line?"
Garuda's face sank, and he said coldly to Darryl, "I was about to succeed at the bottom of the abyss, but you got in the way. The Power of Bird Ancestor should have been mine. What's wrong with me taking it back from you?"
Garuda bellowed the last sentence.
After he sensed Garuda's craze for power, Darryl took a deep breath and said, "Garuda, you must think this through. If you turn me into a pill, you will never be able to leave this place. Only I can break through the enchanted barrier, and I have already cracked the formations set up in the West..."
Garuda frowned; his eyes flickered, and then he sneered. "Quit trying to trick me. After I gain the Power of Bird Ancestor and defeat the White Tiger King, I will be the official ruler here.
"At that time, the entire demon clan would be under my leadership. We will be united and will surely find a way to get out of here. You're a mere human; we don't need your help."
Garuda waved his hand dismissively.
Several of his subordinates walked around quickly and held Darryl tight. They were about to throw him into the cauldron.
"Garuda, stop!"
"Stop!"
