“Understood!" White Tiger King, Peacock Lilibet and the others nodded at Darryl’s suggestion.
Finally, the day came when they could all leave the place where they were stranded for ages. Both White Tiger King and Peacock Lilibet were a little impatient and wanted to leave as soon as possible, but they knew that Darryl was right. There were a hundred thousand demons present. All of them entering the Godly Region suddenly would definitely alarm the Nine Heaven Emperor.
Darryl left a few more messages and walked through the teleport gateway. Accompanied by a brief sense of dizziness, he opened his eyes and was in a good mood when he saw the scene in front of him.
‘F*ck! Finally, I’m back in the Godly Region,’ he thought.
What made Darryl even more delighted was that he was right outside the cave where he had entered; it was very close to Ghost Mountain.
Darryl wondered what happened to his Master after he had been away for a few days. ‘I think Master would be happy to learn that I’m now the ruler of the demons.’
Then, he propelled his figure forward and went in the direction of Ghost Mountain eagerly.
When he arrived at Ghost Mountain, Darryl was stunned to discover the astonishing scene in front of him. ‘What happened?’
The scenic Ghost Mountain had turned into ruins and the placid courtyard had disappeared into thin air, leaving only a huge deep pit behind.
Darryl noticed traces of lightning strikes everywhere around the dark and deep pit. After a few seconds, he recovered from his shock and felt inexplicably nervous.
"Master, where are you? Master?" Darryl began shouting.
He shouted dozens of times, yet the only reply he got was the echo of his own voice. There was no sign of Ghost Valley Sage responding to his cries. Darryl grew even more anxious.
