Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 3679

Jewel was overjoyed that Rogart agreed to help her and she beamed like a flower blossoming, making her look cute. Next to her, Ambrose felt a sudden relief wash over him. Although Ambrose and Rogart were at odds earlier, Ambrose thought he would consider befriending Rogart if he agreed to help find his father.

‘What? Why did the Divine Lord agree to help?’ Cayden, who was next to Rogart, was dumbfounded. He grew anxious to the point he could not help but say, “Divine Lord, you can’t agree to this—”

However, Rogart interrupted Cayden before he could finish speaking. "Shut up! I'm talking to this woman from the Divine Dragon clan. How could you interrupt my conversation?"

His expression turned dark and he continued to chastise Cayden, sounding intimidating. "It's my business if I agree to help or not. What has it got to do with you? Are you trying to influence my decision?”

Cayden panicked after Rogart got angry and began explaining himself, "I would never dare do that, never..."

Then, he stepped aside submissively as he said that.

Rogart turned around and smiled at Jewel. "I’m ashamed that my subordinate was so rude.”

Jewel was in a happy mood and shook her head as she said, "It’s no problem at all. I’ll have to thank you for it."

Rogart nodded. Then, he thought of something and smiled awkwardly. "I'm fine with helping you to locate Darryl's whereabouts, but I also have something to ask for your help with."

He seemed indifferent as he spoke, but a sinister look flashed in his eyes.
