Rogart had a smile on his face and appeared indifferent to the outcome of the battle earlier, but he was seething with anger on the inside.
Skylar had humiliated him in front of the various sects. He vowed to teach Skylar a lesson in the future if he had the opportunity.
Suddenly, a personal guard walked over quickly and whispered to Rogart, "Divine Lord, I saw the Heaven Jade Token flickering all of a sudden earlier. There must be news from the Godly Region; please have a look!"
Then, the guard handed a white jade token to Rogart. The white jade token was engraved with detailed inscriptions and there was a faint flash of light in it. It looked rather peculiar and was obviously not something from the Nine Mainland. It was the Heaven Jade Token and was something Rogart used to contact the Godly Region. Messages in the token could only be viewed after one channeled his divine energy into the token.
Rogart's expression instantly became solemn. He took the Heaven Jade Token and injected his divine power into it. Suddenly, a message appeared in his mind— 'Recently, the Ancient Ancestor had newly appointed a Nine Heaven Sage and he has returned to the Nine Mainland. Rogart, as an envoy from the Godly Region, you must follow the instructions issued by the Nine Heaven Sage…'
Rogart's heart trembled and he was extremely shocked.
…
Meanwhile, after Darryl entered the hall, he passed through the back door and entered the Heavenly Alliance Altar. A celebration feast was being held in the plaza in front of the main hall, so the Heavenly Alliance disciples were maintaining order near the feast and there were only a few disciples on patrol duty inside.
Under such circumstances, Darryl was safe and undiscovered along the way. However, he immediately sensed a familiar aura surging after he went inside the altar. It was the soul contract between him and Jewel.
Of course, Darryl still had no idea that the young dragon that had established a master-servant relationship with him, was in fact Jewel.
