Darryl's tone was indifferent, but he was firm with his reply nonetheless.
For a brief moment, Rogart was stunned by Darryl’s composure. Then, he began to chuckle. "Tsk, tsk. A former Nine Mainland hero indeed. You’ve got balls!"
He looked at Darryl with interest. "However, the Elysium Gate's reputation is destroyed in the cultivation world. And now, you're all alone; I'm interested to see what you're going to do."
Buzz!
Following that, a terrifying aura emerged from Rogart.
Grunt was very excited and urged, "Divine Lord, there’s no need to beat around the bush with him anymore. Just kill him."
After that, the haughty Grunt yelled at Darryl, "Darryl, I've told you the Nine Mainland today is no longer the same Nine Mainland from three years ago. You're digging your own grave by trespassing into our altar."
Darryl ignored Grunt.
"Rogart, before you start, can we talk just one on one? Your people are too noisy," Darryl asked with a calm expression.
Rogart frowned. ‘Darryl is surely no ordinary person. How could he be so calm in the face of such a tight and desperate situation?’
Rogart thought and nodded. "Okay, I’ll see what tricks you have up your sleeves. Grunt, get out of here first."
He was so confident that Darryl would not do anything because they were at the Heavenly Alliance Altar.
Grunt panicked when Rogart promised to talk to Darryl one on one. However, he dared not disobey the order when he saw Rogart’s serious expression. Grunt quickly left the room with a dozen Heavenly Alliance elite disciples. He did not forget to give Darryl a stern look as he walked out the door.
