That was impossible. Veron had no clue that Darryl had a fairy soul and was not like any other man. It was easy as pie for him to overcome her Devil’s Finger.
Seeing the serious look on Veron’s face, Darryl chuckled. "Just give up. You’re not worthy as my opponent!"
Veron bit her lips and scoffed. "I, Veron Lange, have never known what it's like to give up."
Her body trembled and charged towards Darryl.
Darryl quietly sighed at her stubbornness. Then, with a turn of his body like a ghost, he stood behind Veron and stretched out his palm. He had decided to bring Veron down to the ground with one attack and end the fight.
Veron reacted quickly and ascended to the air as she saw Darryl reaching out his arm. However, he was as fast as lightning, and Veron did not manage to escape. As she ascended into the air, Darryl’s palm hit her leg instead of her back.
Snap!
Darryl was stunned by the loud and clear sound. At the same time, he was amused by the feeling he felt on his palm.
In that instant, Veron’s body trembled, her face turned red, and deep down, she felt utterly embarrassed. 'How could… How could Darryl hit her there?'
Filled with embarrassment and rage, she glared at Darryl with agony in her eyes.
Rophe, who was watching from the side, was infuriated too and shouted, "How shameful! How could the hero of The Nine Mainland strike so despicably?"
Darryl was known as the hero of The Nine Mainland. How could he hit a girl there… How could he!
