"Mother!" Veron went over and sat down. She hugged Agatha's arm and said in a coquettish manner. "I'm home. I missed you so much."
"I was just talking about you with a few elders." Agatha raised her arms and stroked Veron's head as she smiled. "I'm relieved to see that you're fine."
Then, she asked, "You've been away for more than a month. What have you found out about the Heavenly Alliance?"
Veron tilted her head to one side in thought. She said, "After the Heavenly Alliance forced the Green Dragon clan to submit, they held a celebration banquet of sorts and invited all the sects in the Nine Mainland to participate. They tried to use it to establish their prestige. I heard that after the banquet, many sects joined them."
"Also, at the banquet, there was a man named Skylar Blanc, who had a match with Rogart. They tied."
Skylar Blanc? At that name, Agatha and the elders all froze. Could a human be that strong? Strong enough to tie against Rogart?
Veron continued to say, "By the way, in this month alone, I spied on the Heavenly Alliance, and I also did plenty of Robin Hood stuff. When I was in the World Universe, I subdued many pirates who oppressed the poor. Under my hand, each one of them—"
Immediately after that, Rophe chuckled. "That's right! During that time, Miss dealt quite a lot of justice."
"Is that so?" Agatha smiled and nodded her head in approval. "You have really grown up, Veron."
She asked, "Right then, other than that, was there any other trouble?"
Trouble? Veron's eyebrows scrunched, and she immediately thought of Darryl. A hint of shame and anger showed on her face.
When she saw her daughter's expression, Agatha hurriedly asked, "Did you really encounter trouble?"
"No!" Veron took a deep breath and shook her head. "I just ran into a rotten scoundrel."
