"Sect Master!" A muffled voice sounded from the lower floor.
The already annoyed Skylar immediately turned to face the door. The same voice spoke again, but it got louder, accompanied by approaching footsteps.
It was Kendall.
The quiet and romantic atmosphere was ruined, and Skylar grew even more displeased. "What are you doing back here? Didn't I order you to investigate the Hidden Hero Sect?"
Seeing Skylar's furious expression, Kendall became terrified and panicked. She said, "Sect Master! I received news that the Hidden Hero Sect just launched an attack on the Heavenly Alliance's main altar. The two sides are currently battling it out."
"Hmm?" Skylar thought for a second and proceeded to smile. 'So, the Hidden Hero Sect is a courageous bunch. They marched right up to the Godly Region's front door. Now things are starting to get interesting.'
At the same time, Debra started to show the first sign of interest. Skylar noticed that and immediately asked her, "Do you know anything about the Hidden Hero Sect, Debra?"
"I don't know anything!" Debra replied; her unusual response told them everything.
Debra shook her head and said in a timid voice, "The Heavenly Alliance is such a dominant party; even the name itself incites fear in the world of cultivators. It's shocking that the unknown Hidden Hero Sect would challenge them."
Two months ago, the Heavenly Alliance had been forcibly occupying places with the Elysium Gate. They wanted to build a Portal Formation that linked the Nine Mainland to the Godly Region. Rogart badly injured Ambrose and Dax after they tried to stop the plan from coming to fruition. Hence, Debra was not too fond of Heavenly Alliance.
Skylar smiled and said, "If that's the case, let's go together and check out what's going on."
He was very excited. He had finally found something in common with Debra. More importantly, Skylar also wanted to uncover the secrets of the mysterious Hidden Hero Sect. A few minutes later, Skylar, Debra, and Kendall set out on their trip to the Heavenly Alliance main altar.
