The door of the secret chamber was pushed open and a black figure slowly walked in.
Rogart, who was about to lash out in anger, was stunned as soon as he realized it was Skylar.
Skylar, how dare you? You sided with the Hidden Hero Sect to go against the Heavenly Alliance and now you’re barging in here?" Rogart said.
"Why not?" Skylar smirked as he looked at Rogart from head to toe. "I thought Dax’s palm attack would have injured you badly. But it looks like I overestimated him."
Rogart read between the lines and frowned. "What do you mean?"
Skylar chuckled and answered, "Since you’re dying soon, I’ll just tell you the truth. Dax became hysterical because he was under my control. I planned to start a war between the Heavenly Alliance and the Carter family and cause both sides to lose. But, the Heavenly Alliance was so disappointing that Darryl and the Carter family successfully escaped."
Rogart was shocked and glared at Skylar. He caused Dax to go into hysteria. How did Skylar do that? As a matter of fact, Dax had one of the greatest powers in The Nine Mainland. How could he be manipulated by Skylar?
A few seconds later, Rogart came to his senses and said, "You barged in here in the middle of the night to tell me all that? Aren’t you afraid that I’ll tell Darryl the truth?"
"Of course not. Because you’re about to die soon. The reason I’m here is to get rid of you and then blame it on Darryl," Skylar scoffed.
Rogart laughed. "Interesting." He then sighed. "Skylar, I recognize you have great powers, but don’t forget, I’m from the Godly Region and I have a fairy soul. As long as my fairy soul lives, I’ll live even if you destroy my human flesh."
