Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 3927

All eyes were on Cayden as he got to his feet slowly. His entire face had turned green, eyes sparkling with an ominous glow. The sound he let out was hard to recognize— it sounded like a sob and a laugh simultaneously.

The Carter family or the Heavenly Alliance members let out a collective gasp as they watched the scene.

Chester was right. Cayden had come into contact with the ancient poisonous centipede's venom and had gotten infected. Once infected, one would lose control of their thoughts; they only had bloodthirst in their mind.

Cayden looked around wildly, letting out an animalistic cry. He charged toward the Heavenly Alliance members.

Kill. Kill. Kill. Cayden had lost control of his senses—there was only a single word ricocheting through his mind!

"Argh!"

Cayden had been infected, and he had turned into a monster. He began attacking anyone in his path, even biting at a few people. Over 50 Heavenly Alliance members had keeled over in their own blood in no time at all.

Everyone was shocked to see the blood that gushed out of wounds that Cayden had bitten from did not flow red but deep, viscous green.

It was clear that the venom would infect anyone that Cayden bit. Even if it was not fatal enough to kill them, they would have gotten infected and lost control anyway.

The rest of the Heavenly Alliance members stared blankly, both in fear and judgment.

What had happened?

Had the Guardian gone insane? What was he doing, killing his own men?

Amid their terror, many still braved themselves to approach him in an attempt to stop him.

"Oh, great Guardian! Please calm down!"

"Guar—"

However, before they could get anywhere near close, Cayden's force had rendered them unconscious.

At the same time, the ancient poisonous centipede had also lost control. It unhinged its jaw, spitting out jets of venom. Upon coming into contact with the air, the venom evaporated into a poisonous fog that quickly spread in the direction of the crowd.

The fog spread steadily and quickly. Before long, many of the Heavenly Alliance members had inhaled it. It suffocated them immediately, their hands flying to their neck and their expressions morphing into pure agony.
