The other royal guards gasped in terror.
Dax was a powerful warrior who lived up to his reputation.
That, including the Sky Breaking Ax, was truly something to fear.
Quincy remained unmoving in mid-air, watching the battle coldly. She had not made any moves of her own, with her regality in mind.
It was as if Dax had lost control, killing her subordinates left and right. Quincy's face flushed with anger as she ordered, "Take care of Dax Sanders!"
Dax had the Sky Breaking Ax and impenetrable strength. However, Quincy felt the ax's power begin to wean as Dax continued to battle, along with the steep decrease of his strength.
Quincy called upon more forces to ambush Dax. That way, his strength would quickly be thoroughly used up, and killing him would be easy.
Getting rid of Dax would be a significant loss for the Carter family and the Hidden Hero Sect.
"Attack!"
At Quincy's orders, tens of thousands of royal guards flocked toward Dax. They moved as one, surrounding him from all sides.
"Dax!"
"Sect Master Sanders!"
Chester and the elders froze in shock. They scrambled to help him out, but there were too many royal guards, and it was pretty much impossible to penetrate the crowd.
Dax did not flinch in the slightest. Instead, his determination hardened as he roared, "You good-for-nothings think you can kill me? Come on!"
Gripping the Sky Breaking Ax tightly in his hand, Dax swung it left and right as he leaped into the air.
Rays of gold shot out from the ax. The soldiers barely had any time to dodge the attacks. They fell to the beams with a cry into a pool of their own blood.
It was as if Dax had turned into a God of War. The space within Dax's hundred-meter radius had turned into a slaughterhouse.
Quincy had sensed it right. The Sky Breaking Ax was slowly running out of steam, and Dax's endless wielding had also chipped away at a large amount of his strength. He began to slow down eventually.
