Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4179

As Oliver spoke, he smirked and added, "I came here a day earlier than you and I know that we rarely use paper and quill at the camp."

Immediately, one of the fiend generals walked up and said, "That's right. I remember now. No one in the camp uses a paper and quill, except for last night. Darryl took some of it."

'F*ck! I thought I covered up the evidence. I didn't expect it to be found out.' Darryl felt helpless.

He never thought the fiend race would have such a strict monitor over papers and quills within the camp.

Oliver saw the change of expression on Darryl's face and said, "Now what are you going to do? You were the only one who used the paper and quill. Plus, it's obvious that a few papers were used. What did you write on those papers? And who did you pass these papers to?"

Darryl's face turned gloomy and he did not say a word. At that moment, everyone started murmuring.

"Was it him?"

"It's probably him."

"D*mn it. Darryl is such a cunning person and even caused us to suspect the Black Tortoise King."

"Haha. The Black Tortoise King isn't any good. He escaped during the…"

The discussion went on and Morticia looked enraged.

Finally, she could not help but shout at Darryl, "Darryl! What's going on? Why aren't you explaining yourself?"

She was furious and disappointed. Since Morticia had intimate contact with Darryl the night before and after, he had warded off the chill poison within her body with the flame. She changed her view of him.

To her, Darryl was a capable man. With his assistance, she would certainly be able to make great contributions and achieve a status higher than the other Fiend Martyrs.

She had too many expectations for Darryl. However, she never thought he would betray her, given the trust she had for him.
