Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4208

After that, Skylar had used the Reverse Fiend Soul Takeover spell to bait Yvette into joining his team.

Yvette had made a false promise then. However, Skylar had only taught her half of the spell, to Yvette's fury, but she dared not go back on her word.

Yvette had locked herself up upon returning to the Carter family members, fiercely determined to find out how to reverse the Fiend Soul Takeover. Yet, it had already been half a month, and she had made no progress.

That filled Yvette with frustration.

"High Lady."

Just then, a servant girl made her way toward her in quick steps. She turned to greet Yvette. "Someone brought a letter for you," the servant said.

Since she had lived with the Carter family members for so long, everyone called her High Lady instead of Princess.

'A letter for me?'

Yvette's eyebrows arched in surprise. She waited until the servant was gone before she opened the letter. What greeted her made her tremble and sent her spirits rock bottom.

There was only a single sentence. "Meet me tonight up north. Don't be late. It's an emergency." The letter was not signed, but there was a drawing of a Cloud Valley.

Skylar?

The sight of the cloud further confirmed Yvette's assumptions, and she was confident that Skylar had been the one to send the letter.

Skylar's letter did not mean anything good.

Yvette found herself immensely frustrated with no way to feel better.

If she were to flake, there was no way she would be able to handle the fiend soul were it to flare up and take over her body.

The thought of the Fiend Soul Takeover made Yvette's heart pound uncomfortably.

"Sister Yvette!"

Just then, a clear voice rang through the air. Two stunning figures entered the garden in quick strides.

One wore a long, pale green dress and had her hair in a high ponytail, radiating with youthful elegance.

Another was clad in a skimpy bright yellow two-piece; she was bright-eyed and breath-taking.

It was Jewel and Sara.
