Princess Dorothy's face was flushed as she felt embarrassed, but she felt relieved since it was just the Senior Master.

Jade Immortal dismally waved his hand. "Don't remind me. Archfiend Antigonus tried to capture Lute Belle and me but failed. We're the otherworldly gods, so of course, we can't let him do as he wishes.

"When I asked you to run, I saw a man chasing after you. I was worried and talked to Lute Belle and had her distract the enemies while I looked for a chance to escape."

"I followed you to the cliff but lost you there. I assumed you had fallen over the cliff."

"I guess I was right!" Jade Immortal said as he laughed.

Princess Dorothy was touched when she heard the story. She looked at Jade Immortal and said, "Senior Master, you came after me, leaving Lute Belle behind to fight the fiend race. Will she be alright?"

Even though Princess Dorothy did not have a strong bond with Lute Belle, she knew she was a kindhearted woman. Otherwise, she would not have pretended to lose the fight against Jade Immortal and give him the Emerald Sky Pearl.

Princess Dorothy's face fell into despair when she heard that.

"What's going on?" Jade Immortal paused and asked.

Princess Dorothy sighed as she responded bitterly, "I lost the Emerald Sky Pearl, as well as the Rainbow Amulet." She proceeded to tell him the whole story.
